Make sure you build and follow a strategy. While persistence is key, you should also make sure that you’re targeting the right customers, or it won’t matter much in the long run. If you’re persistent with people that aren’t interested, they will just get annoyed and that’s a waste of time.

In all your emails, you need to use a call for action. Tell your audience what you expect from them.
